our history

Aloha Wedding Planners was founded by Bonnie Town after couples visiting the courthouse marriage desk began asking for help creating Hawai’i-Style wedding Celebrations.

In 1995, Susan O’Donnell acquired the company after many years in the hotel and restaurant industry, bringing her passion for hospitality and event service to the brand.

Under her leadership, services expanded beyond O’ahu to include Maui, Kaua’i, and Hawai’i Island. Establishing Aloha Wedding PLanners as a trusted name in destination wedding planning throughout the state of Hawai’i.

Today, Susan remains an active leader in both the wedding industry and the local community, guiding the company’s continued growth into both wedding planning and event logistics services.
